Ser un <em>Darcy lecturer<\/em> es un honor que otorga la <em>National Groundwater Association<\/em> americana y que financia a una persona relevante del mundo de la hidrogeolog\u00eda para viajar alrededor del mundo durante un a\u00f1o impartiendo una charla de divulgaci\u00f3n sobre las l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n del orador elegido. Por la UPV han pasado grandes cient\u00edfico y buenos amigos como Paul Hsieh, Jim Butler, Majid Hassanizadeh o Rainer Helmig, por citar unos pocos. Desafortunadamente, estas visitas parece que llegan a su fin debido a cambios en las condiciones de financiaci\u00f3n de los viajes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tienes la oportunidad de asistir a la que puede que sea la \u00faltima charla Darcy en la UPV, el pr\u00f3ximo jueves 21 de marzo a las 12:15, en el sal\u00f3n de actos de la Escuela de Caminos, donde Masaki hablar\u00e1 sobre <em>Alpine hydrogeology: The critical role of groundwater in sourcing the headwaters of the world<\/em>.
