Debido a las bajas velocidades del agua en los acu\u00edferos, en ocasiones el impacto de un vertido no se observa hasta que ha pasado tanto tiempo como para que el responsable haya desaparecido o no se recuerde cu\u00e1ndo pudo producirse tal contaminaci\u00f3n.
